Action Heroes No. 1 Cover by Joe Staton
The Charlton Action Heroes debuted in the 1960s, mainly under the editorship of Dick Giordano. Captain Atom preceded Giordano’s tenure, and E-Man premiered after.
Charlton fans remember them well. And while DC Comics owns them today, long-time readers continue to hope for a return to their original settings.
