Claw the Unconquered Nos. 13, 14 and 15 – Unpublished
Following up on a post discussing Claw‘s origins, we turn to the issues produced but unpublished after its cancellation with issue No. 12.
Claw had survived cancellation before, only to be cancelled a second time during the DC Implosion. For more on that watershed event during the Bronze Age, I highly recommend Comic Book Implosion by Keith Dallas and John Wells from TwoMorrows Publishing.
Issues 13 and 14 had been completed sans colours and a few pages of 15 had been pencilled when the books halted production. 13 and 14 were collected in the photocopied Cancelled Comics Cavalcade No. 1 to protect DC Comics’ copyright, but 15’s pages never made it into that.
Thankfully, people scan original art and share it on the web. I’ve been able to source 20 of 26 pages for 13, and four for 15. 14 remains elusive with only the cover found so far. Please drop me a line if you can provide scans for the missing pages.
I’ve lettered and inked the pages from 15 and coloured all the pages I have scans for. There are notes for each issue. If you prefer digital comics packages, there are CBZs you can download at the bottom of this post.

I highly recommend YACReader for CBZ comics. Remember, a CBZ can always be unpacked to access the image files by changing its extension to ZIP and proceeding normally.
