Giant-Size Blog Headers
Online friend Richard Guion (aka Cousin Dick) was kind enough to give this site a couple of plugs on his blogs Giant-Size Marvel and Giant-Size Geek, and I returned the favour by making new blog headers.
Giant-Size Marvel

Richard’s previous header for Giant-Size Marvel.

The banner was based on Giant-Size Defenders No. 1.

To make the new header, I sourced a Captain Marvel logo and a full figure of the character. These would be combined with the Giant-Size Defenders elements.

The final header.
Giant-Size Geek
Richard’s previous header for Giant-Size Geek.

Richard wanted a DC focus for this one, and so I sourced a 50¢ Giant template for the base design.

Added to that would be Justice League of America figures by José Luis Garcia-López from the 1982 DC Style Guide.
The final header.

From August 1975, this was a reprint issue of horror stories wrapped in a new cover. And what a cover. The darn thing nearly leapt off the rack at you and it remains a favourite, so giving it an updated treatment was a natural thing for me to do.
