Green Lantern by Marcio Takara
For this colouring and packaging commission, the client wanted this ink-wash drawing turned into a vintage Green Lantern cover.
Scan of Takara’s original drawing.
Because this is an ink-wash drawing, it needed more than just simple colour being put behind it. Using a mixture of separations and painting techniques, the texture and character of the original drawing is retained.
Original trade dress re-created and added.
