Green Lantern – Comic Crusader No. 10 Cover by Martin L Greim
Fanzines were a big part of early organised fandom, and were proving grounds for young artists and writers.
Martin L Greim published Comic Crusader. This issue from 1970 carries one of his cover illustrations and it shows influences from Gil Kane, Wally Wood and Dan Adkins. I thought it would make a good GL cover.
Ken Meyer Jr is responsible for my learning about this book, and through his website, he shares items in his collection. You’ll find a complete PDF of Comic Crusader No. 10 available for free download in addition to his commentary.
