There’s a lot to be said about the lad from Lincolnshire, Brian Bolland, but his Wikipedia entry does a pretty good job of getting to the details, so I recommend reading that instead if you’re curious.
Bolland entered American comic books after meeting Joe Staton. Staton, the penciller on Green Lantern called up his editor Jack C Harris and said Bolland should draw a cover. Harris agreed and the integration of a generation of British talent into US comics began.
Bolland drew three GL covers initially. Short stories and other covers followed, and finally pencilling Camelot 3000. He was here to stay.
Here’s new colour on those three Green Lantern covers by me.
