Green Lantern No. 141 Cover by Dick Giordano
Dick Giordano‘s last Green Lantern v2 cover as a solo artist went unpublished. Instead George Pérez’s illustration – teasing the first appearance of The Omega Men in the issue – appeared on the cover of Green Lantern No. 141, June 1981.
While Pérez had the better illustration to introduce a new team for the DC Universe, Giordano turned in a solid drawing as usual and here it is freshly coloured and packaged for your enjoyment.
As published. Art by George Pérez.
Scan from Heritage Auctions. Art by Dick Giordano.
Minor retouching and clean up, plus the removal of the UPC box.
Rebuilt and new trade dress – logos and type – combined with the lineart.
Virgin art in colour.
Final package.
