Phoenix No. 2 Unpublished Cover by Sal Amendola
Atlas/Seaboard was a short-lived comic company owned by Martin Goodman after he left Marvel. Producing a couple dozen titles, none lasted beyond four issues.
One of their better books was Phoenix, written by Gabriel Levy and drawn by Sal Amendola. Astronaut Ed Tyler is captured by aliens intent on destroying the human race. Escaping in one of their powered suits, Tyler becomes Phoenix and fights the alien invasion.
Dick Giordano drew the covers to Nos. 1 and 2, but Amendola also submitted a cover for No. 2 that went unused.
Here it is with colour by me.
