Swamp Thing v2 No. 21 Cover by Thomas Yeates
DC had gone to Britain to hire new talent and foremost among their new hires was writer Alan Moore.
After wrapping up previous plot lines in No. 20, Moore wrote “The Anatomy Lesson” for No. 21 and Swamp Thing would never be the same again. The series would go on to critical and reader acclaim. Other UK talent would build on Swamp Thing‘s success and the American appetite for more sophisticated content with DC’s Vertigo line of books.
And it all started in this comic.
