The Demon No. 1 Cover by Jack Kirby
With his Fourth World books at DC Comics cancelled, Jack Kirby moved on to a second series of books which included Omac, Kamandi, Kobra and The Demon.
When Rich Woodall posted an homage to the cover for The Demon No. 1 on facebook, I found a low-res scan of Kirby’s original cover art. If you have access to a high-res scan you’d like to share, please contact me.

Like ’em both.
But I’ll always have a soft spot for the sort of drug-infused, through a microscope, shading technique that Kirby always practiced. Gave ALL of his drawings a decided otherworldly feel.
