The Thunder Child Banner
Here’s a quick project for The Thunder Child blog, done in trade for some SF memorabilia.
Barbara Peterson was looking for a Thunder Child image as a header for her site and I found this 3D rendering by Andy Poulastides based on the painting from Jeff Wayne’s version of The War of the Worlds and the tripod from the Tom Cruise film. It’s a nice mix of the vintage with the modern.
Combining it with Victorian-inspired typography and elements I provided three options.
And the final.
