Wonder Woman Pop-Up Book Cover by Andru & Giordano
Ross Andru and Dick Giordano were a great team at DC comics as the 70s ended and into the 80s. Often paired on covers, Andru’s dynamic anatomy and cover design were complemented by Giordano’s slick, bold and sharp inking.
I hadn’t seen this piece before, the cover to Random House’s 1980 Wonder Woman – A Pop-Up Book. Tatjana Wood’s colour guide has faded which was actually a good thing here as it allowed me to recover the lineart more easily.
Colour and packaging by me.

As published.
